Child Care & Day Care At Home
Thousands of Moms Can't Be Wrong

Tips
Getting that business you so desire is not going to be difficult at all, if you do it the right way.

I recommend first that you go to the office supply store and buy some Avery business cards that you can make yourself. Design a simple card that gives basic information, re: your name, hours and days of care, and a phone number, and make them to carry with you.

Start to hand them out -- at McDonalds, the Park, the grocery store, at church. Let people know you are available!

Even though it may be summer, schools are still open...make sure they get some of your cards to hand out too. Many kindergarten parents are going to need someone, so there's a perfect body to choose from!

Next, start making up some flyers. You can paste these up on mailboxes, at grocery stores, schools and churches, just to name a few.

NEVER list your address on this flyer. Just put the basics...when you are available, general part of town you are in, and what you are looking for. You can give your address later, when you know you have a viable customer coming.

ALSO: Always make sure you have another adult in the house when you are interviewing prospective customers. You are now allowing strangers in your home, so remain alert at all times.
